Part 1 – Health Workforce Retention & Well-being - Leadership Strategies for 2023 PPT
The pandemic has accelerated workforce issues that have existed for more than a decade. Surveys show job satisfaction declining and a growing percentage of clinicians feeling undervalued. And unlike the past, modern burn-out is being reported by younger clinicians. To take a new approach to these workforce issues in 2023, IHA is piloting a train-the-trainer session. The goal of the training is retention through a focus on restoring well-being. The workshop will provide early interventions that are planned and intentional and designed to build new skills to help peer clinicians. Viewers will take home a framework they can build on and customized to use in their own organization.
