Topics include: Alerts and events, including catheter-associated urinary tract infection. Annual surveys. Multidrug-resistant organism LabID events. Reporting plans. Summary data. This course applies to acute care and critical access hospitals. LEARNING OBJECTIVES Discuss how the annual survey, monthly reporting plan, summary data, alerts and events interact. Identify the infection window period, date of event, present on admission and repeat infection timeframe. Outline the navigation of the network’s website.
