Conflict Management for Healthcare Leaders

Intended Audience

This program is for healthcare leaders to work on conflict management skills and foster a culture of continuous improvement within their organization. 

Program Dates and Locations

Friday, July 10, Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids 

Friday, July 24, St. Anthony Regional Hospital, Carroll

All sessions run from 1 - 4 p.m.

This program is being offered regionally to minimize participants' travel. When registering, please select only one location. IHA is capping sessions at 60 participants per site to maximize interaction.

In this session, you'll discover how to shift from destructive conflict to a constructive approach that fosters creativity and teamwork. Learn the underlying causes of high conflict, strategies to address and reduce it, and how to create an environment where healthy, productive conflict can thrive. Explore practical strategies to adapt to change and become a champion of transformation, fostering a culture of continuous improvement in your organization.

  • Decide how to have accountability conversations and create structures to enforce accountability
  • Review unhealthy versus healthy conflict and how to create an environment of healthy conflict

Presenter

Molly Mackey is the founder and chief learning officer of the LEAdeRNship Institute and the director of knowledge acquisition and transfer at Optimate LifeServices. Mackey received her bachelor’s degree and Master of Business Administration from the University of Iowa. She’s a certified talent-development professional and has written two books: “52 Powerful Reflection Questions for Leaders” and “52 Powerful Reflection Questions for Emotionally Intelligent Leaders.”
