SPONSORSHIP RESERVATION PAGEAn IHA subsidiary, the Iowa Hospital Education and Research Foundation (IHERF) is a charitable foundation that awards educational scholarships to Iowa students pursuing health care careers. In 2024, IHERF awarded $180,000 to 60 postsecondary students and $80,000 to 40 high school students entering health care areas of study.IHERF also provides financial support for hospital employees displaced by natural disasters. Last year IHERF provided $606,000 through the Disaster Relief Program to those displaced by flooding and tornadoes.The Swinging for Scholars golf outing is the primary fundraiser for IHERF.
