Recruitment and Retention Strategies for Today’s Workforce Series 

PROGRAM OVERVIEW 

Attracting and keeping top talent requires a dynamic and multifaceted approach in today’s competitive job market. This series equips health care leaders and human resources professionals with the tools and strategies to create a more engaging, supportive and growth-focused work environment, leading to stronger retention and improved recruitment outcomes. 

Effective feedback is essential for employee development, but balancing the preferences of team members with business needs can be tricky. This session delves into strategies for providing real-time, constructive feedback that drives behavior change while fostering an environment of continuous growth. Explore how to implement bidirectional feedback, create opportunities for micro-mentoring and prioritize retention-focused initiatives with high impact and low time commitment.

SPEAKER

Retention strategist Alayna Thomas, M.S., PHR, equips leaders to become retention champions who make the necessary adjustments to keep today’s multigenerational workforce. Thomas is a former human resources director and holds a master’s in management and professional human resources certification from the Human Resources Certificate Institute. USA Today named her a 2024 Keynote Speaker to Follow for her unique, compelling perspectives on the evolving workforce. Thomas teaches human resources fundamentals at the University of Texas at Dallas.
