Advocates also can park at the Capitol.11:05 a.m. Group photo at the CapitolAdvocates will gather on the first-floor grand staircase for a group photo.11:15 a.m. - 3 p.m. Luncheon and Legislative Visits at the CapitolLegislators will be invited to eat lunch with attendees from their local hospitals in the rotunda of the first floor of the Capitol. For legislators who cannot attend the lunch, advocates can request time to speak with them outside the House and Senate chambers. 1 - 3 p.m. Shuttle will make roundtrips from the Capitol to IHA and back. *Advocacy 101 Training and Overview of the Day will be held virtually prior to IONL Day on the Hill New to advocacy or attending IONL Day on the Hill for the first time? We strongly encourage you to join our virtual preparatory session to get familiar with the event, learn how to effectively share your story, and feel confident engaging with legislators. This session is designed to support new advocates and ensure everyone is ready to make an impact!There are two prep sessions for you to choose from.Prep Session #1 - February 25 from 11:00 a.m.-Noon Prep Session #2 - March 5 from 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m.Registration to the prep sessions will be emailed out at a later date.
