CONFERENCE OVERVIEWAs the only statewide organization for health care attorneys, the Iowa Society of Healthcare Attorneys is excited to invite you to its spring conference. This year’s keynote will feature a discussion with Iowa’s two U.S. attorneys, moderated by former U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Iowa, Pete Deegan, a partner at Taft. We are also excited to feature Wes Butler, a national expert on patient safety and quality, and retired Iowa Supreme Court Justice Brent Appel, who will discuss legal ethics. We will round out the day with our traditional case law update and a panel of general counsels from some of Iowa’s largest health systems.
