Advocates also can park at the Capitol.11:05 a.m. Group photo at the CapitolAdvocates will gather on the first-floor grand staircase for a group photo.11:15 a.m. - 3 p.m. Luncheon and Legislative Visits at the CapitolLegislators will be invited to eat lunch with attendees from their local hospitals in the rotunda of the first floor of the Capitol. For legislators who cannot attend the lunch, advocates can request time to speak with them outside the House and Senate chambers.1 - 3 p.m. Shuttle will make roundtrips from the Capitol to IHA and back. This event is for hospital members only. *Advocacy 101 Training and Overview of the Day will be held virtually prior to IHA Hospital Day on the HillNew to advocacy or attending IHA Hospital Day on the Hill for the first time? We strongly encourage you to join our virtual preparatory session to get familiar with the event, learn how to effectively share your story, and feel confident engaging with legislators. This session is designed to support new advocates and ensure everyone is ready to make an impact!The virtual prep session is on March 4 from 11:00 a.m.-NoonRegistration to the prep session will be emailed out at a later date.
