She oversees the association and represents hospice and palliative care organizations at a state and federal level. In her role, Cubit has serves on the National Alliance for Care at Home's Assembly of State Associations as well as the steering committee for the State Hospice Organization Executive Roundtable. Cubit is a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa where she received both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in public policy.
